Brazilian creates works of art from plastic bags

Sao Paulo artist Eduardo Srur recreates art masterpieces

using plastic bags collected on streets and rivers in cities

LOCATION: SAO PAULO, BRAZIL

He hopes to raise awareness about plastic waste and pollution

BRAZILIAN ARTIST, EDUARDO SRUR:

"I make a prediction here that these works will remain for many years in the history of mankind, as well as the plastic that we inappropriately dispose of in nature. We know that the Mona Lisa is much older than 200 years old. The plastics that we use will also be in nature for more than 200 years."

He has recreated works by Picasso and Edvard Munch

Srur will premiere his work in Sao Paulo later this year
