Brazilian Fernanda Maciel took on the challenge of a lifetime

when she ran up two iconic mountains in the Alps

setting a new record in an epic one-day adventure

She set her sights on the Gran Paradiso climb first

where she set a record time of 2 hrs and 40 mins

before making her way up the world-famous Matterhorn mountain
