Film noir at Upland

Film noir evokes imagery of darkness and grime, one of the key reasons "Mickey One" kicks off Cicada Cinema's Noir-vember weekend. This French new wave-y drama was directed by Arthur Penn a couple of years before his successful "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967).

"Mickey One" (1965) is showing at 8 p.m. Friday, at Upland Brewing Wood Shop, 354 W. 11th St., for $7. 21 and older.
