The New ‘Breaking Bad’ Movie Trailer Is Hard to Watch…but Reveals What’s in Store for Jesse Pinkman

In the new trailer, we see Jesse talking to Walter White's former brother-in-law, DEA agent Hank Schrader (Dean Norris). Hank is questioning Jesse for what seems to be an FBI interrogation.

“Any business dealings, any personal dealings, any criminal activity you were witness or party to,” Hank says. “Anything and everything. Just tell us your story.” That's when Jesse is launched into a flashback of his criminal misdoings, mainly centering on his connection to Walt and their meth cooking schemes.

The trailer showcases brief clips from the five seasons of AMC's Breaking Bad, as if we the audience are time-traveling through Jesse's most vivid (and often, most gut-wrenching) memories. It's basically like binge-watching the entire series in under three minutes. Yeah, we warned you...

We know that the movie takes place after the events of the TV series and will follow Jesse after his dramatic escape from captivity (where he takes off in…you guessed it…an El Camino), according to Deadline. Netflix recently posted the official synopsis online: “Fugitive Jesse Pinkman runs from his captors, the law, and his past.”

Netflix released the first trailer for the Breaking Bad follow-up film on August 24. In that preview, a very battered-looking Skinny Pete is being interrogated by law enforcement about Jesse Pinkman's whereabouts... Now, with this new trailer, we know the law has caught up with our worn-out protagonist.

More recently, Paul, who plays Jesse, posted a teaser for the movie on Instagram of himself in a hazmat suit. "Hello old friend," he captioned the post.

The movie will premiere on Netflix on October 11, and run for a second window on AMC.

Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to go watch puppy videos and try to shake the feeling of re-watching five seasons of Breaking Bad in one sitting.
