Families and individuals searching for a place to share in a Thanksgiving meal or pick up a holiday turkey still have a few choices leading into the holiday.

At least one major turkey and food giveaway will take place Wednesday at the Chabad of the Space and Treasure Coast center in Viera. "This is for everyone, our chance to give back for Thanksgiving," Rabbi Zvi Konikov said of the drive-thru event.

On Tuesday, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Melbourne delivered dozens of turkeys and chickens along with fresh vegetable and holiday fixings to residents in a drive-thru giveaway.

For those unable to go to a restaurant, there will be a number of locations serving up free dishes of turkey, stuffing and desserts for those hoping for a fresh holiday meal.
