Breaking: Ceasefire announced in Nagorno-Karabakh

People claiming to be the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh have declared a ceasefire that is set to begin on Wednesday, September 20 at 13:00 local time, according to a statement of the information center of the unrecognized republic.

Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan had earlier stated that Russia could no longer provide security guarantees to the Armenian exclave after it had committed to many of its forces to the war in Ukraine, he told Politico on Sept. 13.
