Breaking down the brackets: MIAA high school girls lacrosse state tournament field
On Friday, the MIAA released the high school softball girls lacrosse tournament brackets (find them all here).
The South Shore will be sending 20 teams into the postseason across the four divisions.
Notre Dame Academy earned the top seed in Div. 2. Hingham (No. 9) and Weymouth (No. 10) are both inside the top 10 in Div. 1. Norwell (No. 7) and Cohasset (No. 8) are also in the top 10 in the Div. 3.

Sleeper: Weymouth - The Wildcats are peaking at the right time and their top-end talent can match up with anyone in Div. 1. I've got Weymouth pulling off a stunner over No. 7 Concord Carlisle.
