Breeze Airways announces new route to and from Fort Myers starting in November
When the leaves start changing colors up north, airlines start adding more routes to warmer climates like Fort Myers.
Breeze Airways announced today (Sept. 13) it is adding new service to and from Portland, Maine starting on Nov. 15 at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).
The new winter/spring seasonal route will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays with an introductory fare of $89 one way, available for purchase through Sept. 18 for travel through April 30, 2024.

With the addition of Portland, Maine, Breeze will now 14 routes operating to and from RSW.
Other destinations Breeze offers from RSW include: destinations from RSW, including Akron-Canton, OH; Charleston, SC; Columbus, OH; Hartford, CT; Las Vegas, NV; Louisville, KY; New Orleans, LA; Norfolk, VA; Pittsburgh, PA; Providence, RI; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Richmond, VA; and Syracuse, NY.

“We are excited to see that Breeze is adding nonstop flights to Portland, Maine, which is a very popular market for visitors coming to Southwest Florida and residents visiting New England,” said Ben Siegel, CPA, C.M., executive director of the Lee County Port Authority. “It is great to see that Breeze continues to grow its service at Southwest Florida International Airport, joining the RSW family last year with two nonstop cities and will now serve 14 nonstop markets this winter.”
