Breeze Airways in Florida: Budget carrier expands with new destinations
Breeze Airways announced 22 new routes and one new destination Tuesday, and several of those routes include Florida destinations.
Or for Florida residents, several locations to get away from the Sunshine State are available for fares as low as $39 for some routes.
"Here we grow again," David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO said in a statement.
"We’re always looking for new routes that people are traveling today but can’t get there nonstop. So, at Breeze, we’ll get you there twice as fast for about half the price."

The low-cost airline's newest destination is Portland, Maine, which was announced Tuesday, along with a list of 22 new routes being added into the summer.

Breeze Airways, what to know about the low-cost airline
Breeze describes itself as an airline that "provides nonstop service between underserved routes across the U.S. at affordable fares."
Cancellation policy: Breeze said it never charges change or cancellation fees, according to its website.
BreezePoints: Earn flight credits for every purchase, including flights and such items as checked bags and seat selections. Credits can be used for up to 24 months.
App available: Breeze offers an app to search, book and update flights. You can also check in using the app, which is available for both iPhone and Android.
Bags: One personal item, such as a purse or small backpack, that fits under the seat is allowed at no charge. Costs for additional luggage depends on whether you purchase the "nicer" or "nicest" ticket. Nicer includes one carry-on and one checked bag. Nicest includes one carry-on and two checked bags. Routes may change: Some routes may be seasonal and not available on the dates you want. A destinations map helps to know what flights are available when.
Planes: Breeze Airways fleet currently includes Embraer E190s, Embraer 195s, and Airbus A220s. Airbus 220 has 126 seats. The E190 has 108 seats and the 195 has 118 seats.
