Breeze expands nonstop destinations out of Bradley

Oct. 20—WINDSOR LOCKS — Breeze Airways is once again expanding its destinations from Bradley International Airport.

Starting in February, Breeze passengers will now be able to fly from Bradley to Vero Beach, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; Provo, Utah, and San Bernardino, California.

The flights to Florida and Arizona will be nonstop, while the other two flights will be what Breeze calls "BreezeThru" flights, requiring a stop but not a change of planes.

"We thank Breeze for their partnership in bringing these exciting new routes to this key market and for their continued commitment to our community," said Kevin Dillon, Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority.

Breeze began flying out of Bradley in May 2020, but much of its expansion came this year, after the company announced that it was making Bradley one of its bases of operations.

Breeze announced at the time that it was increasing its destinations from four to twelve, creating 200 local jobs, and permanently housing aircraft at the airport.

Breeze is a low-cost airline that says it is committed to low fares and booking flexibility.
