Brent Faiyaz finally announced dates for his highly anticipated tour nearly a year after his sophomore album, Wasteland, catapulted him to new heights in his career.

Last summer, the Columbia, Maryland native released his second solo project, Wasteland, which included hit singles “All Mine” and “Wasting Time,” the latter of which features Drake. According to Billboard, the LP debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, a first-time accolade for the rising R&B artist.

Since then, his fans have eagerly awaited for the Grammy nominee to announce a tour, especially after learning he’s headlining Sol Blume and Broccoli City music festivals. Well, the wait is officially over!

On May 2, the independent artist announced his new 2023 tour, F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland Tour, across his social media platforms, including Instagram. The tour kicks off in the U.S. in July before heading overseas to the U.K. to wrap up in November.

This marks a monumental time in the 27-year-old star’s life as he just secured a deal with United Masters, an American music distributor. The collaboration includes a recording partnership and offers Faiyaz a new creative agency for his entrepreneurial ventures, reported Variety. Steve Stout, CEO and founder of UM, shared his enthusiasm to work with Faiyaz in a press release on UM’s site.

Per Billboard, the deal is rumored to be valued around $50 million.

“Brent Faiyaz is one of the most prolific independent artists today and we are extremely excited to embark on this new partnership with him,” he wrote. “It’s been inspiring to watch his journey as an artist over the years and with this partnership we look to further amplify his creative vision and support his entrepreneurial ambitions.”

To top it off, Faiyaz dropped the music video for “Rolling Stone,” a fan favorite of Wasteland.
