Bret Michaels had such a great time at the Carolina Country Music Festival that he is hoping fans will join him again - this time for free.

The singer, known as the lead singer of the rock band Poison, whose hits include “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” and “Nothin’ But a Good Time,” performed at CCMF that happened June 8-11 in Myrtle Beach.

Michaels is offering CCMF concertgoers a chance to attend his Bret Michaels Parti-Gras in Charlotte on Aug. 6. The singer said if CCMF attendees bring their ticket from any night of the festival, he will make it worth one lawn ticket to the August show.

Michaels sent this message to fans on his website June 10:

“Carolina Country Music Festival – I still can’t stop smiling as this was one of the best days of my life ever. Great people, awesome music & one big party. I will see you all on the Bret Michaels Parti-Gras, all killer / no filler, big hits tour in Charlotte on Sunday, August 6th. You were so great to me & if you bring your ticket from any night of the Carolina Country Music Festival, I will make it worth one lawn ticket. On certain shows, working with the promoters, I make it a lawn ticket fan jam on me. I’ve worked it out with Live Nation promoters & I will see you there Sunday, August 6th. Bring your cowboy hats & be ready to party!”

Michaels was added to the CCMF lineup in November. Tickets for the music event that brings thousands to the three-day concert quickly sold out.

Morgan Wallen has been announced as the headliner for the 2024 festival. Wallen had to pull out of this year’s festival and was replaced by Kenny Chesney.
