Halloween costumes are encouraged. A virtual and in-person costume contest will be held, and top fundraising prizes awarded. All funds raised will support the four priority areas of Exeter Hospital’s historic $4-million ‘Together We Can’ capital campaign: an expanded center for cancer care; community-based pediatric care; critical behavioral healthcare services and resources; and celebrating healthcare heroes.

2022 marks the 10th year that this event has been hosted in the Seacoast community of New Hampshire, and the first year that the event is being held in memory of the life and legacy of longtime community leader, advocate, friend and supporter, Jim Dill of Stratham.

“He made a positive impact on so many people’s lives.” said Brandon Dill, Jim’s son. “By participating in ‘the Trot,’ you are directly making a positive impact on somebody else’s life. You're helping people fight. My father always tried to help people be better. My dad was that kind of person. I may have only gotten 29 years with him, but I wouldn’t trade that for 100 years with somebody else.”
