Brett Favre will play in the Donald Driver Charity Softball Game June 12 at Fox Cities Stadium

GRAND CHUTE – Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre will make yet another comeback — to the softball field, that is.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champion will join the list of former and current Packers who'll be playing in the Donald Driver Charity Softball Game at Fox Cities Stadium on Sunday, June 12, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers announced Thursday.

Favre hosted the annual charity softball game from 1999 to 2007, before Driver became the host in 2008.

Driver said in a news release that he's happy to welcome Favre back to the field and hopes for a "huge" turnout from Packers fans.

“I am excited that my brother from another mother, Brett Favre, is returning to play in the charity softball game he started 20 years ago,” he said.

Other current and former Packers players who will be attending include Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, James Jones, Ahman Green, Jermichael Finley, Desmond Bishop, Nick Collins and Antonio Freeman.

Tickets are still available for the game at the Fox Cities Stadium box office or online at timberrattlers.com.

The game will raise funds for the Donald Driver Foundation, which has a core focus in serving underprivileged children and families by addressing health and wellness, safety, and education and career development, as well as other local and player charities.
