Brevard College to award three full-tuition scholarships

Brevard College will award three full-tuition scholarships to new students who enroll for the fall 2022 semester, according to a news release from the college.

President David C. Joyce hopes the scholarships will attract top students in the region and from all over the world to the liberal arts college. Each four-year scholarship will include tuition and fees and is valued at $30,250 per year.

One scholarship will be awarded during each of the college's three "Scholarship Day" events on Dec. 11, Feb. 12 and March 19.

"Scholarship Day" gives all students who have been offered admission to Brevard College to interview for scholarships that combine with their previously awarded half-tuition scholarship, according to the release.

College officials have reported a "dramatic" increase in attendance from local students as a result of the half-tuition scholarship program, the release states.

"Brevard College’s enrollment continues to grow, and we look forward to using this new opportunity to help a high-achieving student pay for their Brevard College degree,” said R. Chad Holt, vice president of admissions and financial aid.
