Cape Coast Conference Bowling

Eau Gallie junior Jennifer Chiarillo was the top girls individual for the second consecutive year at the Cape Coast Conference bowling tournament Thursday at Palm Bay Shore Lanes.

Chiarillo bowled games of 217, 241 and 209 for a 641 series, four pins in front of Arianna Soares of Space Coast (215-241-181—637). Brooke Street turned in a 625 and Kaitlyn Knight a 621 to give the Vipers three of the top four girls. Knight's 268 game was the high single game of the day among all girls.

Nick Fisher of Heritage, the 2021 FLORIDA TODAY Boys Bowler of the Year, finished atop the individual boys scoring. He bowled a 711 with games of 215-258-237. Bayside's Sean Williams was 20 pins back (247-177-267—691). Third-place Ryan Nazarian of Titusville turned in the day's top single game, a 287, and he finished at 676.

In team competition, Space Coast's girls defeated Eau Gallie in the championship. while Heritage defeated Edgewood in the boys' bracket.

Cape Coast Conference Golf

Viera's girls and Cocoa Beach's boys teams won Cape Coast Conference golf championship titles earlier this week.

Hannah Hall of Viera claimed first place at the competition, while Palm Bay's Lila Iwandowski and Viera's Vivian Luu tied for second place.

Cocoa Beach's girls came in second place and Merritt Island finished third in team scoring.

Cocoa Beach's Carson Sisler took first place in the boys' match. Trey Loughlin of Merritt Island placed second and Alexander Bercea of Cocoa Beach placed third.

Viera and Edgewood rounded out the top three on the boys' side of the competition.
