Brevard's most expensive: Luxury and waterfront key to July's top priced homes sold

Luxury is apparently as hot a commodity as waterfront property on the Space Coast. And as the summer continues to sizzle, so does the Brevard housing market and the desire for some lavish accommodations with epic waterfront views.

These are the top five most expensive homes sold in Brevard County during the month of July:

5. $2,300,000 - The other Malibu

This 4,233-square-foott home features 125 feet of Indian River front views and comes in as the fifth most expensive home sold on the Space Coast in July.

While there's a lot to explore inside this four bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom at 751 Malibu Lane in Indialantic, let's talk about those backyard amenities - like the covered boat dock with slip and the oversized saltwater pool.

The place is decked with skylights and an abundance of windows/doors to let the epic views shine through. An open formal living and dining area takes advantage of the waterfront. The family room offers a brick fireplace, billiards and backyard access. The kitchen is outfitted with a wood-paneled fridge, SS appliances, a prep island w/sink, under-mount lighting and a bay-windowed casual dining accent.

This 4,151-square-foot English manor house at 10480 S. Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, features four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms and comes in at number four on our most expensive homes sold in July on the Space Coast.

While Adele isn't the owner, the property does have a nod toward her Academy award-winning song. The property, affectionately known as Skyfall, sits on three-quarters of a acre that stretches from river to river. Entry into the home is found through a stone-faced vestibule that shelters a 600-pound mahogany front door. The property, the third most expensive home sold in July, features a new salt system pool, fire pit area, and attached 3-car garage with a 520-square-foot studio.

With just under 6,000 square-feet of living space, this estate at 9900 S. Tropical Trail on Merritt Island comes in as the second most expensive home sold in Brevard during July.

Outside you’ll find a black iron electronic gate, waterway views of the Indian River, a swimming pool/spa, a well-manicured backyard, and a private boat dock. Situated on 1.12 acres, the home boasts 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a 3-car garage.
