Brevard's most expensive: Top 5 most expensive homes sold in November

While the most expensive homes sold on the Space Coast in November still fetched millions of dollars, they aren't quite as expensive as those in previous months.

October saw buyers spend $15.925 million on the top five home sales. November saw $9.975 million spent for its top five home sales.

Here are the most expensive homes sold during the month of November:

5. $1.775 Million - Cocoa Beach riverfront

Nestled along the banks of the Banana River sits this 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home at 3412 S. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach. The amenities of this 3,921 square-foot home start on the street with a custom-design gated entrance.

The first floor space provides a formal living room with wall-to-wall windows looking over the pool and out to the river, eat-in kitchen, dining room, office space, family room, laundry room and garage and the first of four guest bedrooms. Upstairs you'll find the primary bedroom with access to the covered balcony, three additional guest bedrooms, two guest bathrooms, a full kitchen, stacked washer and dryer and yet another family room, with a second set of stairs leading to the ground floor laundry and garage.

4. 1.8 Million - Private sale on Uranus

According the Brevard Public Records, the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home at 30 Uranus Ave. on Merritt Island comes in as the number four most expensive home sold last month.

The single-family home in the Diana Shores community was built in 1965 during the height of the space race and features waterfront canal access to Sykes Creek and 2,042 square feet of living space. The house sits on a 8,712 square foot lot.

The property did not appear on the Multiple Listing Service. No additional information is available

3. $1.85 Million - Downtown Melbourne mansion

All the convenience of downtown living with the peaceful serenity of living outside of town.

That's what the new owners at 305 E. Melbourne Ave., Melbourne are enjoying in the Number 3 most expensive home sold on the Space Coast in November.

Sitting on 1.44 acres on the banks of Crane Creek is this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom block home. Plenty of windows and French doors allow for a seamless transition from outside to indoors. The tray ceilings are 12 feet high and give you the sense of massive space. The house screams elegance from the cherry wood floors to the extensive crown molding.

The primary bedroom provides access to an oasis with French doors leading to the screened patio, which features a summer kitchen and heated pool and spa.

Oh, and have a guest or an in-law you want to tuck away? The upstairs guest suite features a kitchenette.

The No. 2 house on our list of most expensive homes closed on Nov. 17. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this house at 8475 S. Tropical Trail features 3,600 square feet of living space and ample privacy.

To get to the house, you drive down a winding shared private drive through tall Australian Pines. Your path opens to a custom fountain sitting in the center of a large circular driveway. There you'll find a large courtyard offering plenty of space to store your RV and it also offers hookups.

You'll notice the more than 3,000 plants which have been added to the property to create a lush, tropical serenity. The backyard features a pool and a large patio with amazing river views. There's also a path to take you to your dock.

The home takes full advantage of its proximity to the ocean with majestic views in all living areas. You need not worry about noise from A1A as the house sits 200 feet off the main road and features a 20 x 40 swimming pool off the side of your driveway. The pool is also raised to the second floor so there's less worry about the occasional wandering critter getting in. And while we're on the outside, let's not forget the private boardwalk through the backyard, past the fire pit and out to the beach.

Inside, the word is wood. Vaulted ceilings with large wood beams are the primary focal point for when you get tired of looking at the ocean.
