Actor Brian Turk, who you may recognize from shows like "Beverly Hills, 90210," "ER" and "Boy Meets World," has died at the age of 49 after a battle with cancer, The Sun reports.

His death comes two months after a GoFundMe account was set up in July in an effort to fund his battle. The page revealed at the time that one year into Turk's battle, the cancer had become terminal.

"Just over a year ago our dear friend, Brian Turk, was diagnosed with cancer," the page read. "Being the selfless and private person that he is, Brian kept this quiet so as not to concern his family and friends. Unfortunately, the cancer has now become terminal."

The GoFundMe's description went on to honor his spirit and the impact that he's had on the various communities that he had been a part of.

"Brian has impacted so many of us in a positive way whether it be on the football field, at Mater Dei or USC, on stage or in our personal lives," it said. "He has always been there for us in our times of need and celebration."

Turk also appeared in HBO's "Carnivale," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Two and a Half Men" and "General Hospital."

Brian Turk is survived by his wife and 8-year-old son.
