Brick bites: LEGO burger pop-up restaurant coming to Austin in December 2023

Let's admit it. There are several toys that some people had the urge to eat as children: Play-Doh, Orbeez and slime, to name a few.

And, for the record, those things should definitely not be eaten.

But what about LEGOs?

The hard, colorful bricks certainly aren't appetizing, but an upcoming Austin pop-up is looking to make them into a delicious meal.

The Brick Burger pop-up is set to come to Austin in December, CultureMap Austin reported. The burger buns are shaped like LEGOs and come in vibrant colors like red, yellow and green.

The rest of the burger appears to be made with classic ingredients such as cheese, pickles and lettuce.

According to CultureMap, the pop-up restaurant will have LEGO brick walls and LEGO-inspired furniture as well as a building station.

To be clear, the building station is for real LEGOs, but burger bun LEGOs.

The pop-up will also host weekly LEGO building contests.
