Bridenstine to headline Elder Care 40th anniversary fundraising breakfast Nov. 11

Former NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine will be the featured speaker at a fundraising breakfast celebrating Elder Care Bartlesville's 40th year in service.

A Giving Day fundraising breakfast is set for 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Tri County Technology Event Center, 6101 Nowata Road. An open house will follow from noon to 2 p.m. at Elder Care, 1223 Swan Drive.

Bridenstine is a former United States House of Representative from Oklahoma’s First Congressional District and the nation's 13th NASA Administrator.

will be the featured guest speaker during the fundraising breakfast. Elder Care Board President Mark Wilburn says the event theme – “Setting New Heights” – describes Elder Care’s vision for 2024 and beyond.

“Elder Care is setting new heights for future programs and quality services, and the funds raised during the Giving Day celebration will provide resources to offer services in 2024. It is an honor to feature Mr. Bridenstine as our guest speaker for this milestone event," said Elder Care Board President Mark Wilburn. "Looking to the future, Elder Care continues fully committing to improving our services for aging adults."

The event is open to the public. Individual tickets are $50 each for general seating or $75 each for reserved seating with a commemorative T-shirt. Tickets may be purchased by calling Elder Care (918) 336-8500 or online at www.AboutElderCare.org/breakfast.
