Bridge collapses at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, area shut down
FORT MILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A bridge at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill has collapsed, temporarily closing the area, officials announced.
The road bridge that connected the Tunnel Trail and Mill Pond experienced a structural failure, resulting in its collapse.
“Our top priority is ensuring the safety of all visitors, and we are working diligently to assess the situation,” officials with Anne Springs Close Greenway said on Monday.

The impacted area has been cordoned off, and park officials are asking residents to avoid the vicinity until further notice.
No injuries have been reported.
