Brie Larson reveals why she didn’t want ‘Captain Marvel’ role

Brie Larson may have made history as the first woman to headline a Marvel superhero movie, but she almost didn’t do it because of nerves.

The “Captain Marvel” actress admits she almost turned down the major opportunity.

Larson has been sharing stories about her various auditions on her YouTube channel, and revealed that her initial response to being offered the part was panic.

“Oh, I can’t do that. I have too much anxiety. That’s too much for me. I don’t think I could handle that,” she recalls thinking at the time. The Oscar winning actress was filming 2017 1/4 u2032s “Kong: Skull Island” in Australia when approached for the groundbreaking role.
