Rachel Rodriguez has joined HopeWorks as the new Chief Development And Communications Officer. Rodriguez most recently served as the executive director of Equal Access to Justice, securing unrestricted revenue for New Mexico civil legal organizations. Prior positions include Development and Vision Director for Mountain Mahogany Community School; Deputy Director of Family Voices; and grant writer for the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation. At HopeWorks, she will spearhead and manage all aspects of fundraising and community relations efforts.

Ed Anlian, CCIM, has joined Johnson Commercial Real Estate as a Commercial Broker. Ed's comprehensive commercial real estate experience provides his clients with exceptional service in office, retail and investment properties. He is a past president of CARNM (2018), a Certified Commercial Investment Member and active in the community.

Agnes Gallegos has joined True Health New Mexico as the Group Account Manager. Prior to joining True Health New Mexico, Gallegos worked for more than 25 years with various companies including Medicaid Third Party Administrators, Presbyterian Health Plan and State Farm Insurance. Gallegos served as president of the New Mexico Association of Health Underwriters and received the Pat Miller and Eva Jean Famolant award.

Attorney Margaret A. "Peggy" Graham of the law firm of Pregenzer, Baysinger, Wideman and Sale, PC, has been selected as the newest member of the Special Needs Alliance. Established in 2002, the Special Needs Alliance is a national, nonprofit collective of many of America's leading disability and public benefits attorneys. Currently, in 48 states, SNA members work to secure Medicaid and other public benefits for individuals with special needs. The SNA's mission is to help enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities by coordinating private resources with public benefit programs through special needs planning and trusts. Membership to SNA is selective and competitive and is extended by invitation only. Graham has been with PBWS Law since 2015 and has been instrumental in developing the firm's practice areas, especially regarding guardianships and conservatorships, special education law, special needs trusts and planning, and fiduciary litigation. She serves as a board member for Alta Mira Specialized Family Services, the Albuquerque Rotary Charitable Foundation, the New Mexico Estate Planning Council, the Senior Citizen's Law Office, and Mandy's Special Farm. She is a past board member of the New Mexico Women's Bar Association and is past president of the New Mexico Guardianship Association. She has served as a board member for other charitable organizations in New Mexico, including the Ronald McDonald House of Charities of New Mexico where she served as Secretary, Vice-Chair and Chairperson. She is also a member of the Cerebral Palsy Parents Association of Albuquerque.

Mary Charley has been named the 2020 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico Volunteer of the Year.

Charley, a community health coordinator at BCBSNM, is an active member of the New Mexico community and supports many causes and organizations including Girl Scouts, Roadrunner Food Bank, Mitchell Elementary School and the Eldorado Eagles Football Booster Club. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Charley distributed homemade masks and food boxes to the Navajo Nation. The annual Volunteer of the Year award celebrates a BCBSNM employee who makes a difference in their community. The award also provides employees the opportunity to nominate outstanding coworkers for their volunteerism. In honor of the award, BCBSNM will donate $1,000 to Charley's charity of choice, Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails Inc., Troop 10029.
