Greater Fort Myers Chamber’s June 16 luncheon to highlight tips for networking

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on June 16 will spotlight “Networking in Four Simple Steps.” Guests of the luncheon will hear from speaker Bill Utnage, Southwest Florida regional partner for Master Networks, a national business building organization. Utnage will provide valuable tips on improving networking experiences, including insights into efficient networking strategies and methods to build relationships that last a lifetime. Utnage has owned and operated businesses for over 30 years and is also the owner of Damascus Road Coaching & Consulting. The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 16 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Myers-Estero, located 10450 Corkscrew Commons Drive in Estero. Stevens Construction completes Frantz EyeCare

Stevens Construction has completed the 60,000-square-foot, two-story Frantz EyeCare and Frantz Cosmetic Center located at 9617 Gulf Research Lane. Designed to promote staff efficiency and overall patient experience, Frantz EyeCare offers 44 exam lanes, diagnostic center, retail, LASIK suite and a cosmetic treatment center. The second floor houses Frantz EyeCare’s corporate offices, employee training, a conference room and space available for lease. Frantz EyeCare will also provide the future home to Suncoast Surgery Center, an AHCA-licensed surgery center with four operating rooms and four laser suites slated to open in June. The Stevens Construction team includes senior project manager, Jon Zander; senior superintendent, Tom Porter; project engineer, Matthew Rigot; and project administrator, Gina Ferentini. The design team includes: Gordon & Associates Architect, LLC, Southview Studios and Quattrone & Associates, Inc.

Genesis Naples, LLC purchased Tract 92, a 4.18 Acre commercial site at Pine Ridge Rd & I-75 in Naples from Frank Clesen & Sons, Inc. for $4,734,000. Fred Kermani represented the seller and George Vukobratovich of Welsh Companies represented the buyer in negotiating the transaction.

Genesis Naples, LLC purchased Tract 93, a 4.03 Acre site at Pine Ridge Rd & I-75 in Naples from Frank V. Kralik Rev Trust for $4,000,000. Fred Kermani represented the seller and George Vukobratovich of Welsh Companies represented the buyer in negotiating the transaction.

Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company leased a 3,083 SF office space in Renaissance Center at 9530 Marketplace Road, Suite 101, Fort Myers from Brookwood SFL, I. Randal Mercer negotiated the transaction.

Berlin, Patten, Ebling, PLLC leased a 1,727 SF office space in the Beachway Professional Center at 3301 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 308, Bonita Springs from Klingler Properties B, LLC. Dave Wallace and David Wallace represented the lessor and Michael Mahan of Lee & Associates represented the lessee in negotiating the transaction.

Theory Design welcomes three new hires

Howard Finkelstein brings over 37 years of design experience to the fastest growing high-end Interior Design firm in SWFL. Filling a spot as Senior Lead Designer on the Theory Design team, Finkelstein started his design career in Fort Lauderdale and later expanded to all of Florida and beyond. Finkelstein specializes in luxury high-end design and ground-up construction. As a newly hired Design Assistant with the Theory Design team, Kayla Koeller will play a supporting role through assisting with selections, researching products and materials, helping with installations and walk-throughs as well as assisting with inventory documentation on residential design projects. Previously with Collins & Dupont in Bonita Springs, Koeller joins Theory Design to to grow her design skill sets with her professional goal set to becoming NCIDQ and ASID certified. Also joining the Theory Design team as a Design Assistant, Lina McGill brings a strong data management standards and documentation structure background to the team. McGill has a robust background in organization and detailed record keeping. She will lead the continual process improvement and assist with the coordination of design furnishing orders and tracking to ensure that future installations run smoothly. Diamond Custom Homes names Jacob Weiss director of construction

Diamond Custom Homes has announced the appointment of Jacob Weiss to the position of Director of Construction. In this leadership position, Weiss will be responsible for supervising the construction and project management teams; establishing standards for quality and delivering homes according to the standards; evaluating alternative construction methods for cost efficiency and quality improvement; budget management and accuracy; monitoring industry trends, code variations and continuing education; overseeing, instructing, training and evaluating construction personnel in accordance with Diamond Custom Homes’ core values; maintaining subcontractor relationships; establishing workflow and priority of work process from sales agreement to completion; and designing and establishing processes for inspections, quality control, home walks and standard operating procedures.
