Pine Island Realty merges with John R. Wood Properties

Phil Wood, President and CEO of John R. Wood Properties, today announced the acquisition of Bokeelia-based Pine Island Realty, the island’s leading residential real estate firm. The agreement became official on Friday, April 1. In business since 1980, Pine Island Realty and its team of approximately 12 agents represent more than $100 million in residential transactions annually throughout Bokeelia, St. James City, Matlacha, and Cape Coral. In addition to the company’s staff and real estate agents, owners Mike Faulkner and Brian Faulkner have joined John R. Wood Properties and will remain active as vice presidents within the company. Two sales offices, at 5400 Pine Island Rd. in Bokeelia and 2959 Oleander St. in St. James City, are being transitioned to John R. Wood Properties offices, bringing the company to 21 locations throughout southwest Florida.

LSI Companies, Inc. brokered a 8.50± acre commercial property in Fort Myers, FL for $1,475,000. The property was acquired by Intergold Investments, LLC, from Colonial 3971, LLC. The property is located at 3971 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. The deal was brokered by Randy Thibaut and Hunter Ward.

LSI Companies, Inc. brokered a 12,497± Sq. Ft. industrial building in Fort Myers, FL for $950,000. The property was acquired by Base Hit Equities 771, LLC, from Michael R. Bakst, Trustee in Bankruptcy for Mark Stuart Grunberg. The property is located at 3086/3090 Evans Ave., Fort Myers, FL. The deal was brokered by Justin Thibaut and Hunter Ward.

Acopio International, LLC d/b/a Acopio Coffee leased 1,356 square feet of retail space from Tamiami Newgate, Ltd. located at 5100 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 100. Tara L. Stokes represented the Landlord and Felipe Arcila of Kova Commercial represented the Tenant.

Rail Head 239, LLC purchased 4,560 square feet of commercial space from 1474 Rail Head, Inc. located at 1474 Rail Head Boulevard for $1,150,000. Rob Carroll represented the Buyer and John Paulich IV of Trinity Commercial Group represented the Seller.

Lee & Associates

West Side Realty, LLC purchased a 35,400sf single tenant building on 5.08 acres at 4655-4661 Laredo Ave., Ft. Myers from Sox Development, Inc. for $5,500,000. Derek Bornhorst, Bob Johnston and Jerry Messonnier represented the seller and Doug Coller of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT represented the buyer in the transaction.

Genesis Commercial Group purchased a 6,528sf building on 1.18 acres known as the Steinway Piano Gallery at 28751 S. Tamiami Trl., Bonita Springs from JZGB, LLC for $2,900,000. Bill Young and Biagio Bernardo represented the seller and Scott Allen of Tower Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer in the transaction.

Fort Myers RE, LLC purchased a marina with sales office, boat slips and pier on 0.35 acres at 18650 San Carlos Blvd., Fort Myers Beach from Marina Mike’s Boat Club and Rentals for $1,250,000. Thomas Webb and Michael Mahan represented the seller and Eddy Dingman of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT represented the buyer in the transaction.

Prime Toys & Games purchased a 1,800sf retail store in the Coastland Regional Shopping Center at 1780 9th St N., Naples from Shawn Paul Jones for $150,000. Michael Mahan negotiated the transaction.

Seagate hires Corporate Controller

Seagate Development Group announces the addition of Michelle Mizzoni as Corporate Controller. She will oversee and manage all accounting and financial functions of the company. A native of New England, Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New Hampshire College. She most recently worked as a corporate financial controller for Alder Partners, LLC – a Planet Fitness franchisee – in Massachusetts. Prior to that, Michelle spent six-plus years as a corporate financial controller for Cheer Pack North America, LLC, where she implemented loan management and cost savings programs as well as managed asset software.

Owen-Ames-Kimball Florida hires Tony Weiler as Project Manager

Owen-Ames-Kimball Company has announced the hiring of Tony Weiler as project manager. Weiler's career in the industry has encompassed all facets of construction, including roofing, electrical, site work, utility, and general contracting for custom residential and commercial projects. Most recently, he has been a project manager in the civil construction arena. He is well-versed in all aspects of the projects, from preconstruction to scheduling, close-out, and warranty. He has received his Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety and Health card. He also has level 1 and 2 security with the Lee County School District and multi-level security with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
