Leadership Marion! accepting applications for 2023-2024 class

Leadership Marion!, a comprehensive program housed under the Marion Area Chamber Foundation, is now accepting applications for its 2023-2024 class. The program seeks to identify, recruit and develop leaders who represent the diversity of our local community. Leadership Marion! is customized to provide a curriculum that enhances community acumen to augment current leaders and develop future leaders who will assume larger roles in their organizations, the Chamber and other community organizations.

The class meets one day a month from September through May and explores essential aspects of the Marion community, from education, business and government to health care and social services. Each class gives back to the community through a class project after identifying a current need and proposing a plan to address it.

Tuition for the nine-month program is $850 for Chamber members and $1,150 for non-Chamber members. Nonprofit organization scholarship is available. Deadline for submitting applications for this year’s class is Aug. 30.

For more information, contact the Chamber at chamberstaff@marionareachamber.org or 740-382-2181. Additional information is available at marionareachamber.org/leadership.
