Nightbirde's sister speaking locally

COSHOCTON − Katelyn Marczewski, from the Nightbirde Foundation, will be a guest speaker for a Unite event by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, 23891 Airport Road. Food and games start at 6 p.m.

Katelyn is the sister of Jane “Nightbirde” Marczewski of Zanesville, who rose to fame as a contestant on "America's Got Talent." Jane died in Feb. 2022.

Her family created The Nightbirde Memorial Fund to help support people who can’t afford cancer treatments they need and to donate to cancer research.

Board of Revision to meet

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Board of Revision will meet for an annual organizational meeting at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Coshocton County Treasurer's Office, 349 Main St.

Museum starting Quigong program

COSHOCTON − "A Relaxing Morning of Qigong at the Museum" will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays starting Jan. 4 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 N. Whitewoman St.

Holli Rainwater is the instructor for this Chinese health care system that combines gentle body movements, breath practice and deep relaxation. Rainwater has been studying and teaching Qigong since 2004 and is a certified Tai Chi Easy practice leader.
