This Brightening Exfoliator Transformed My Dull Skin

If spending your days stuck indoors has caused you to resign to a uniform of sweatpants and baggy t-shirts, no one relates more than I do. But just because I may have forgotten what it feels like to wear jeans and cute tops doesn’t mean I’ve slumped on my skincare routine. With more time on my hands, I’ve been able to introduce new products into my beauty regimen, experimenting with what will and won’t work on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. One of my discoveries was the widely loved Erno Laszlo White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel Exfoliator. While I was initially hesitant this would be too harsh and inflame my skin, it has been gentle enough for me to incorporate into my regimen weekly for brighter, more radiant skin.

The clarifying peel’s main ingredient is naturally vitamin C, known to illuminate and rejuvenate skin while also reducing the appearance of dark spots and an uneven complexion. The product also features antioxidants and collagen, working together to lift and firm skin for a more youthful appearance. Carrot-seed oil will heal and hydrate while also reversing the effects of sun damage. After using the peel-exfoliator hybrid a couple times, I noticed my skin not only felt much smoother, but it had also taken on a much healthier appearance. While this product would be transformative for those with dry skin, I’ve noticed the oils in my t-zone have greatly subsided, confirming this will work well on oily skin types, too.

The product comes packaged with two separate components: the jar of exfoliator itself and a small bottle of activating ingredients. You begin the four-minute process by massaging the exfoliator across your skin for up to three minutes. It has lactic acid, which preps your skin to be able to absorb all the nutrients of the next phase. After a good scrub, you can move on to smoothing the liquid activator that has all those beneficial nutrients on top, leaving for one minute before rinsing away to reveal a fresh face.
