Brightline offers shuttles to two major airports and Hard Rock Stadium

Brightline rail service has started offering bus shuttle service to and from both Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport.

The high-speed rail line also announced shuttle service and extra trains to and from its Aventura station to serve Hard Rock Stadium during major sporting events.

The Fort Lauderdale airport shuttle runs to and from Brightline’s Fort Lauderdale station, and the Miami airport shuttle runs to and from Brightline’s Miami Central station.

The new shuttle service operates on a fixed-route schedule and does not require advance reservations. One-way rides will set you back $10, and passengers can pay upon boarding the shuttle. You can also track the buses on their routes at https://live.goswift.ly/brightline-fl-us.

Shuttles leave train stations for the airports 10 minutes after each train arrives.

FLL Airport shuttles run Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Saturday/Sunday, 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.

MIA Airport shuttles run Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday/Sunday, 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Brightline also operates a Beach Express Shuttle to South Beach from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. that drops off and picks up at Fifth Street and Washington Ave., 11th Street and Washington Ave. and Lincoln Road and Washington Ave.

Shuttles to Hard Rock Stadium

Brightline also announced free shuttles from its Aventura station to Hard Rock Stadium for major sporting events this year, including the 2023 Miami Open, which runs from Sunday, March 19, through Sunday, April 2, and Miami Dolphins home games for the 2023-2024 season.

The eight-mile bus ride from the rail station to the stadium should take 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

“We recognize that transportation accessibility is essential for an enhanced fan experience,” said Miami Dolphins & Hard Rock Stadium senior vice president and chief revenue officer Jeremy Walls. “And we hope this collaboration with Brightline will provide fans with a smoother and more seamless way to attend our events.”

Miami Open shuttles will run to and from the Aventura station and Hard Rock Stadium before and after events.

Additionally, the rail service will offer pre- and post-event trains from its Aventura station beginning Wednesday, March 22.

The Brightline website has a page dedicated to the U.S. Open event, with dates and times of play to assist booking. Customers can look for Hard Rock Stadium “Connect” icons on the schedule, which indicate trains that line up with shuttles to the stadium.

Shuttles depart for the stadium 10 minutes after trains drop off at Aventura, and they return from the stadium one hour before trains depart to bring passengers home.
