Brightline is creeping closer to debuting a new way of speeding through Florida as gas prices continue to climb.
The company is working to build a high-speed rail service between Central Florida and South Florida, but those trains will run empty for a while.
Officials said the train will be chugging along by the holidays, but it won’t have any passengers on board. Instead, it will be doing test runs and training.
Everything is on track for the project, which is 80% complete right now.
Last month, Brightline brought one of its trains into the Orlando International Airport station.
