Hair of the Dog
Enjoy a latte, glass of wine or a pint with your pup, who'll be delighted to know they're allowed not just on the patio, but inside as well. This tap house, coffee shop and wine bar offers a mix of bar seating, a lounge corner and small tables. Pick up a free Hair of the Dog bandana and buy some treats for your dog to eat while you munch on Arizona-made snacks like mixed nuts from Nutsack in Cave Creek ($5) and Popped Artisan Popcorn from Tucson ($6/7). Dog beds are also available upon request to give pooches an even comfier visit.

The Farm at South Mountain
This south Phoenix oasis offersdinner service at Quiessence restaurant, a cozy outdoor breakfast café, and relaxing lunch picnics at the Farm Kitchen. The restaurants sit on a 10-acre pecan grove established in the 1920s, so there's plenty of green space for the whole family. Per The Farm's guidelines, dogs must be leashed and accompanied by owner at all times and owners must carry waste clean-up materials and dispose of pet waste. After working up an appetite exploring the grounds, the café offers a breakfast menu that includes blue corn Belgian waffles ($15.95), "Soil and Seed" omelets featuring vegetables from the garden and Crow's Dairy goat cheese ($16.95) and the brisket and egg open face sandwich ($18.95).

Arizona Wilderness
Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company has two dog-friendly locations, a downtown Phoenix beer garden featuring a spacious outdoor area with misters, and the original Gilbert brewpub with patio seating. The Phoenix spot is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, if you're looking for a late-night hangout. There are plenty of water bowls to keep your furry friend hydrated and seasonal cocktails and rotating local beers for humans, who can also enjoy pub grub made with locally sourced ingredients from suppliers that have included Golo Organic Family Farms, Mama Lola's tortillería and Arizona Grass Raised Beef Co. The burgers, served with house fries or chips, range from $14 to $18.

Peoria Artisan Brewery
This gastropub tucked in a West Valley strip mall serves scratch cooking, in-house brews and a rotating menu of local guest beers. Dogs are welcome on the patio, where they're sure to salivate over the smell of barbecue wafting from the smoker. Try the OG Burger featuring an Arizona Angus beef patty ($13.50) or nosh on some crispy pig ears ($9) seasoned with spices and lime zest and served with house-made aioli.

Oven + Vine
Relax on the upgraded patio at Oven + Vine, which features plentiful tree shade and grass for your dog to roll around on. The midtown Phoenix restaurant offers a variety of flatbreads, such as Scotty's Sausage and Mushroom ($14) made with local Schreiner's sausage, roasted mushrooms, fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce. You can also build your own charcuterie by picking any four items from the meat and cheese options for $17.

Your furry friend can follow you inside this Phoenix bar, as long as they're well-behaved. The taproom and beer shop features hundreds of different craft beers, wines and meads from across the country. Be warned: Bring your dogs here and you may have a tough time convincing them to leave. Patios at all of OHSO's locations feature a water fountain, play area and even leash clips on tables. Homemade dog treats are a bonus. Hang out over weekend beer brunches that include a 10-ounce beer or mimosa and mains such as Fruity Pebble French toast ($16), salmon avocado bruschetta ($18) and chorizo egg skillet ($16). A special doggie menu at this family-owned, breakfast and lunch restaurant in Glendale features six dog-friendly menu items including combos like two scrambled eggs over toast ($3), eggs with sliced ham ($3.50) and the Spoiled Rotten plate ($7.50) that comes with eggs, bacon and other goodies. For dessert, order your pup a frozen Pupsicle ($2.50) made with yogurt, banana, peanut butter and honey.

The menu includes shishito peppers ($10) and the perennial crowd-pleasing buttermilk fried chicken tenders with fries, coleslaw and honey hot sauce ($16). You can also grab some tallboys to go.

You can fully enjoy a day off sipping $6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer until 5 p.m., without having to worry about letting your little buddy out.
