Bristol Casino donates $21k to United Way of Bristol TN/VA
BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Bristol Casino — Future Home of Hard Rock donated over $21,000 to the United Way of Bristol Tennessee/Virginia, the casino announced on Wednesday.
The donation totaled $21,332.50, and the funds were raised by casino team members through their Team Member Dining Room in January, Bristol Casino wrote in a release.
“We are honored to receive such a generous donation from Hard Rock,” said Lisa Cofer, President and CEO of United Way of Bristol. “Donations like this help the United Way support families in need across the Greater Bristol Area. We are so grateful for Hard Rock’s active involvement in our local community.”

President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol Allie Evangelista said they’re excited to support the United Way of Bristol.
“We are excited to support such an impactful organization like the United Way of Bristol TN/VA,” Evangelista said. “Their efforts to uplift and improve our community are a critical lifeline to so many local residents, and we are proud to support them in their mission.”
