Britain's Kate Middleton visits maternal healthcare organisations

STORY: The royals visited the offices of The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) and The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), which now share a headquarters.

Anne is the patron of the RCM, while Kate is the patron of the RCOG.

The visit marked the first joint royal engagement between the Duchess and the Princess, and aimed to show support for women's healthcare services.

Kate and Anne took part in round table discussions with hospital officials, followed by children from a local school presenting the royal duo with flowers.
