Amid the drama surrounding the release of her compelling memoir, “The Woman in Me,” Britney Spears’ childhood home in Kentwood, Louisiana, has landed on the real estate market for $1.2 million.

This isn’t the first time the modest three-bedroom, three-bathroom home has been up for sale — but it is the first time the price has jumped significantly. According to Redfin, the house sold for $275,000 in 2021 when it was listed by her father, Jamie Spears.

While the price jump might be steep, there are some interior details that would have Spears’ fans swooning.

“There is a little colored picture that Britney painted when she was a little girl. You’ll have a Jesus picture that she painted too,” listing agent Yvonne Hulsey told The New York Post.

She also told the news outlet that Spears’ childhood dog is buried in the backyard.

The home has other features, including more connections with one of the most famous women on earth.

“This charming residence boasts a spacious 2,300 sq ft of living space and retains the original dance studio where Britney’s incredible journey began,” the listing on Zillow.com says.

The residence has also been kept in pristine condition with throwbacks all around the interior.

“What sets this home apart is its authentic connection to Britney herself,” the listing says. “Many of the furnishings are original to the home, preserving the essence of the iconic singer’s early years. The chance to own a piece of pop culture history makes this property all the more special.”

The home was even featured on Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page that showcases unique houses for sale, and the post so far has been liked over 4,000 times.
