Britney Spears Just Dyed Her Hair Back to Blonde

Earlier this season, Britney Spears ditched her signature sunshine-blonde strands (which she's worn for the majority of her career), in favor of a much moodier, dark brown hue for fall. It was a short-lived moment, though, as it appears the pop icon is already back to the buttery, bright blonde hair color the world knows her for.

The 37-year-old mom of two debuted her "new" hair on Instagram in a cheeky video in which she makes a few silly faces, which, if you ever frequent her feed, you'll know is very on-brand for the singer. As for the caption, she addresses her decision to go back to blonde, writing: "So maybe blondes do have more fun 😉😉😉😉 It’s not professional Hollywood hair and makeup .... but hey it’s real and I’m watching Vacation !!!"

In the quick clip, Spears wears her newly-dyed hair up in a no-frills messy bun, making it clear that she's relaxing. "PS Just got out of pool so hair is wet ... sorry," she adds at the tail-end of her caption. No surprise here: Fans are thrilled that their favorite pop star is back to her signature color, leaving captions like, "Yassss Blondney is backkkkkk! Queen!!! 👑" and "Queen of blondes who have fun👑👑👑." Additionally, some folks want to know where her brown hair went so fast, while others point out that she's Britney Spears and never has to explain herself. (A fact.)

While it was certainly a short stint for Spears, it was still fun to see what she was like as a brunette. The answer? Just as fun, quirky, and stunning as she's always been.
