Brittany Mahomes dines with Taylor Swift squad in NYC ahead of Kelly Clarkson interview

Brittany Mahomes took Manhattan again Tuesday night, dining with Taylor Swift and two of the singer’s longtime friends at one of Swift’s go-to restaurants.

Mahomes is in New York ahead of her Friday appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” a rare TV interview for the owner of the KC Current soccer team and wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The new football besties dined at trendy Nobu sushi restaurant with model Cara Delevigne and Nashville designer Ashley Avignone.

In October, Swift and her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, dined at the restaurant’s Midtown Manhattan location on their first major public outing together before making a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”

Mahomes especially looked excited to be at Nobu, seen running down a hallway in her stiletto ankle boots as she led the small entourage, accompanied by security, into the restaurant building.

The four women were just together in a suite in Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday, cheering on Mahomes’ husband and Kelce as the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills.

The Chiefs play for the AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and that Maryland city is already abuzz about whether Swift will show at M&T Bank Stadium.

Tuesday night, Swift and her two OG squad members wore head-to-toe black, catching the eye of Swifties who saw it as another clue that the anticipated announcement about the “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)“ release is close. Swifties associate the color black with “Reputation,” partly because of the album cover’s monochromatic black-and-white theme.

Mahomes apparently got the fit memo, too.

She wore a black-and-white houndstooth miniskirt by the Ukrainian fashion brand Nue Studio ($598) and a matching cropped blazer ($1,095) with a curved hem.

Both pieces are available on the website of Revolve, which describes itself as “the next-generation fashion retailer for Millennial and Generation Z consumers.”

As she did at the Buffalo game, Mahomes carried a Chanel purse.

Mahomes looks more comfortable in the glare of paparazzi camera flashes after several outings alongside Swift. As she walked out of Nobu, she tossed her hair over one shoulder with “I’m not blinded by all these lights” poise.

Mahomes was first photographed in New York with Swift in November when Swift introduced Mahomes and two other NFL wives to her glamorous celebrity gal pals, including Delevingne, model Gigi Hadid and actresses Selena Gomez and Sophie Turner.

That was a girls weekend for Mahomes and Paige Buechele, married to former Chiefs backup quarterback Shane Buechele, now with the Bills, and Lyndsay Bell, the wife of Chiefs tight end Blake Bell.

The women were in New York while the Chiefs were in Frankfurt, Germany, to play the Miami Dolphins.

Earlier this month, Mahomes and Bell dined with Swift at Wolfgang Puck’s famous Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills, ahead of Swift’s appearance at the Golden Globes.

Swift has partied with Mahomes and other Chiefs wives and girlfriends at several Kansas City area restaurants in recent months, beginning with her first known outing with the group back in September at Prime Social, a rooftop cocktail lounge near the Country Club Plaza.

Swift has also enjoyed a ladies’ night dinner at Rye KC restaurant in Leawood with Mahomes and several other Chiefs WAGs.

Though highly unlikely, there’s no word on whether Swift might accompany Mahomes to Clarkson’s show. No word, either, on what Mahomes and Clarkson will talk about, though football is the obvious topic. (Clarkson is a Dallas Cowboys fan.)
