Anna and Elsa are bringing Arendelle to Jacksonville in 2024, and they're not the only ones coming to town. So is the Private Dancer, the six wives of Henry VIII and King Hades, all part of the 2023-24 season of the FSCJ Artist Series.
"Disney's Frozen," "Six," "Tina — The Tina Turner Musical," "Hadestown" are all part of the season. Shows will be at the Moran Theater in downtown Jacksonville. Season-ticket packages for the four shows start at $199 and are on sale at fscjartistseries.org or by phone at (904) 632-5000.
"The Book of Mormon," which had two previous sold-out runs in Jacksonville, is also part of the new season. It's a "season option" and can be purchased separately.
Here's a look at the five shows:
"The Book of Mormon"
Dec. 1-3
"The Book of Mormon" is an irreverent musical comedy about a pair of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints missionaries in Africa, which has generated plenty of controversy and nine Tony Awards. It returns to Jacksonville after a sold-out 2015 run. The show is not part of the season-ticket package but can be purchased separately.

"Hadestown"
Feb. 6-11
"Hadestown," the eight-time Tony-winning musical from Anaïs Mitchel is still playing on Broadway. It retells an ancient Greek tale of a young girl's travels to the underworld.
"Tina — The Tina Turner Musical"
March 5-10
Rock legend Tina Turner's story has been told before, notably in the 1993 film "What's Love Got to Do With It." "Tina — The Tina Turner Musical" uses her own songs to tell the story of the ultimate rock 'n' roll survivor.
"Six"
April 2-7
"Six" gives Henry VIII's six wives ("divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived") the chance to tell their side of the story. Its Broadway run brought home two Tonys and four Drama Desk awards.
"Disney's Frozen"
April 24-May 4
Anyone with kids under the age of 16 or so probably knows the "Frozen" story backward and forward, thanks to the blockbuster 2013 Disney film. "Disney's Frozen" incorporates seven songs from the film (yes, "Let it Go" is in there) and a dozen new ones.
