Broadway's 'Frozen' and 'Hadestown' will play in Indianapolis for the first time

Indianapolis audiences will see four Broadway shows next season that have yet to grace the city.

"Frozen," the musical adaptation of the ultra-popular Disney movie that's won 16 Tony Awards, will kick off the season in November at Old National Centre. And next spring, the reimagined Greek underworld of "Hadestown" will take over the stage at Clowes Memorial Hall.

Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Tina — The Tina Turner Musical" are two powerhouse tours of iconic art that will make their Indianapolis debuts as well.

Rounding out the season is "Mamma Mia!", which is returning for the first time since 2011.
