Peter Beatrice, who wrote and published the post on Oct. 9. According to Beatrice, it’s such a pet peeve of longtime residents that Raynham Selectman Joe Pacheco has brought up the correct pronunciation multiple times in selectmen meetings.

A new Signature Healthcare location is ready provide a "more convenient and comprehensive" health care experience for patients in East Bridgewater and the surrounding communities with a new multi-specialty medical facility on Route 18. Signature Healthcare and Signature Medical Group are celebrating the opening of this new medical facility with an open house and ribbon-cutting. The community is invited to attend the celebration, which will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the new facility, located on Compass Way.

When Moderna needed a vacuum system to keep its scientists safe while they created the COVID-19 vaccine, the pharma giant turned to Air Energy Group. Now, Brockton is recruiting the compressor and vacuum manufacturer, hoping to bring the city about 100 jobs. Under a draft deal, the company would combine their three current locations in South Easton, Pembroke and Lincoln, Rhode Island, into a corporate headquarters on Industrial Boulevard. The city is offering $1,058,689 in projected tax breaks to close the deal.
