Promotions for David Bromberg's show tonight at the Beacon Theatre in New York City is billed as his last with his Big Band at the New York venue, or New York itself.

Whether or not he's retiring, it's an indication he's winding things down.

Whether or not this is the end of the road for the Delaware musical legend, the show tonight, which includes "special guests'' including Wilco's Jeff Tweety, promises to be a fun night.

A few tickets are still available according to the Beach Theatre website.

Happy Pride Month.

A celebration of LGBTQ+ rights nationwide and a celebration love in all its forms, Pride Month offers plenty of chances to have fun, educate yourself and allow everyone to be their authentic selves.

Reporter Molly McVety has rounded up all you need to know about Pride Month, and where to celebrate around Delaware.

Opa! Pass the pastitsio!

The 48th annual Holy Trinity Greek Festival is a celebration of Greek heritage that offers lots of good excuses to eat out.

There are also options for curbside take-out. 

Food offerings include moussaka and pastichio samplers, meatball and lamb sandwiches, keftedes, spanakopita, tyropita, dolmades, Greek salad, rice pudding and baklava, according to the festival's website. 

Bring your appetite to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (808 N. Broom St., Wilmington) from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Visit Facebook.com/WilmGreekFest or greekfestde.com.

Ah, Italia!

Folks will have a reason to sing and dance at St. Anthony's Italian Festival in Wilmington, from Sunday, June 11 through Sunday, June 18.

The beloved St. Anthony's Italian Festival is back to dish up the flavor of Italy with mouthwatering cuisine, plus rides and music. The menu includes everything from tasty gelato and brick-oven pizza to gourmet wings and more

This eight-day is the primary fundraiser for St. Anthony of Padua Grade School. 

You can noodle over to the Italian Festival (901 N. Dupont St., Wilmington) from 4 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11; 6 to 10:30 p.m. Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16; 4 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17; and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 18. Party Like It's 793 Viking Festival hits Milton

Where else in Delaware this summer can you expect to find revelers bonding over Vikings and heavy metal music? 

That is what it's all about at the Party Like It's 793 Festival. In addition to mead, guests will find food and craft vendors.

Beards and babyfaces alike can dive into three days of metal-Viking fun at The Brimming Horn Meadery (28615 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Milton) from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Visit brimminghornmeadery.com or (302) 664-1188.

Hit the beaches

The horseshoe crabs are mating on the bays, diamondback terrapins are coming ashore to lay eggs and tourists are converging on Coastal Highway, writes Shannon Marvel McNaught.

“If you had your beach gear ready to go last Saturday and were bummed to find the day was cold and gray, you weren't the only one,’’ she writes. “Happily, the second weekend in June looks sunny and warm, but also a little hazy.’’

Looking ahead ...

Following stops in New York City, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver and Fort Lauderdale, Pixar Putt is coming to Philadelphia to take movie fans to infinity and beyond! The pop-up, open-air mini-golf experience will take over the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing, starting with previews on July 1st and the official grand opening on July 6. The course will run through Oct. 1, 2023.
