Bronson bowlers sweep Brandywine

The Bronson bowling teams each notched victories on the lanes Wednesday against Niles-Brandywine.

The Viking ladies won 23-7, the boys won 26-4.

For the Bronson girls, baker action saw eight points rewarded. They won the first 143-126 and the second game was a tie at 134-134, giving each team two points.

Bronson won singles games 698-661 and 701-676, earning a pin total of 1,399-1,337.

Leading the way for Bronson was Hadassah Bloom. She rolled a 322 series with games of 165 and 157. Morgan McConn rolled a 285 series, bowling games of 142 and 143 while Savanna Taylor posted a 284 series (139-145). Heidi Squire threw a 157, Tina Medina bowled a 139 single game. Bailee Smith added a 113 and Tenleigh Watkins bowled a 99.

For the boys, Bronson won all 10 points in the baker games. This saw them win the first one 173-155 and the second 178-159.

Bronson won singles games 864-768 and 940-831 for an 1,804-1,599 total.

Shaun McAfee rolled a 409 series. He bowled games of 183 and 226 to lead the way for Bronson. Hunter Woodman bowled games of 209 and 151 for a 360 while Tyler Overholt added games of 183 and 175 for a 358. Phoenix Haviland bowled a 204 single game. Colin Smith added a 184, Nic Cranson shot a 159.
