A Bronx man has been charged with killing a homeless man by setting him on fire, cops said Sunday.

Errol Stephenson, 28, was arrested Saturday for allegedly dumping a flammable liquid on Patrick Winkler and torching him on the corner of Schenectady Avenue and Rutland Road in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, on Sept. 16.

NYPD officers on patrol came upon the 46-year-old victim and used a fire extinguisher to put out the blaze.

Winkler had burns on more than 70% of his body and died Oct. 19 at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center’s burn unit.

Before his death, Winkler said that a man he knew from a nearby homeless shelter confronted him, cops said.
