Bronx man clings to life after being struck down by car, police say
A 40-year-old man was clinging to life Saturday after he was mowed down by a Honda Accord in the Bronx, police said.
The victim was attempting to cross Bruckner Blvd. near Manor Ave. in Soundview about 2:30 a.m. when the Honda rammed into him.
EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Hospital with a massive head wound, cops said. He remained in critical condition Saturday.
The man driving the Honda Accord remained at the scene. No charges were immediately filed.
