Bronx man sought for raping a woman in NYC home: NYPD

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a man who raped a 25-year-old female in her home in May 2023, authorities said Wednesday.

The suspect forced his way into the victim’s home located in the vicinity of East 161st Street and Grand Concourse at around 7:30 a.m. on May 27, according to the NYPD.

He then struck the victim multiple times in the face and forced her to engage in sexual intercourse, police said.

He then fled with the victim’s phone, according to authorities.

Police released a photo of the suspect, who authorities identified as 31-year-old Malik Crocker who also goes by the nickname “Bread”.

Police describe Crocker as a 5’10” male with long black dread locks.
