Bronx MTA bus rider stabbed in head, beaten by man and woman

A 35-year-old man was stabbed in the head and beaten during an argument with a man and a woman on an MTA bus in the Bronx, police said Tuesday.

The victim was taken by medics to Lincoln Hospital, and was reported recovering Tuesday morning.

The two assailants ran off and are being sought, cops said.

The assault happened 8:40 a.m. on Thursday as the victim rode a BX19 bus toward the corner of E. 149th St. and St. Anns Ave.

The victim was attacked after he got into an argument with the couple, said police. The victim said he did not know the suspects involved in the assault.

As the three argued, the male suspect flashed a knife and jammed it into the victim’s head, cops said. The woman then began beating him, striking him in the back with an unidentified object.

The suspects jumped off the bus after the bloody clash and fled, cops said.
