Brooklyn officers with the New York Police Department paid tribute to a slain colleague, 22-year-old Jason Rivera, by helping paint a portrait of him created by local artist Kenny Altidor on January 24.
Rivera, a rookie officer, was fatally shot while responding to a domestic violence call in Harlem on the night of January 21.
