Brooklyn man’s stabbed, decomposing corpse found in Bronx apartment

A Brooklyn man was fatally stabbed and left to decompose in a Bronx apartment, police said Monday.

Cops found the body of Adam Saunders, 23, face-up on the living room floor of a second-floor apartment on Cruger Ave. by Lydig Ave. in Pelham Parkway just before 9:40 a.m. Monday.

A 911 call about a foul odor brought cops to the apartment, police said. Saunders had been repeatedly stabbed in the torso.

Saunders, who lived in East Flatbush, was known to frequent the Bronx apartment building, police sources said. The apartment’s occupant hasn’t been found yet, the sources said.

Police made no immediate arrests in his slaying.
