Brookwood man dies in all-terrain vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa County

A 27-year-old Brookwood man died Saturday night in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Michael A. Hyche was critically injured when the 2016 Honda Foreman ATV he was driving left the road and hit a tree.

Hyche was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Troopers said the crash occurred at 10:49 p.m. on Creekside Road, about 3 miles west of Brookwood.

The investigation into the crash is being handled by troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division.
