Broomfield seeking applications for resident positions on boards and commissions

Dec. 27—Starting Jan. 2, Broomfield residents will be able to apply to a number of positions on boards and commissions in the county.

Many of Broomfield's boards and commissions serve as advisors to local governing bodies, including the City Council. Board members also allocate grant funding, develop programs in the city and more.

The boards and commissions currently seeking members include:

—Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability

—Arts, History and Cultural Council

—Broomfield Housing Alliance

—Historic Landmark Board

—Land Use Review Commission

—Library Advisory Board

—Neighborhood Board of Adjustments

—Open Space and Trails Advisory Committee

—Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Advisory Committee
